the largest country in Central America is located at the center
of the isthmus and bordered to the north by Honduras, by Costa Rica
to the south. To the east lies the Caribbean and to the west the
Pacific Ocean. Nicaragua has a territory of 130.668 square kilometers
and has a population of 5,000,000 inhabitants.

Apoyo
Crater Lake and Mombacho Volcano
The
stunning Apoyo Crater Lake is located just west of Granada and boasts
some of the most beautiful views in Nicaragua. Mombacho Volcano
is now extinct and is 1100+m above sea level and can be visited
on our tours.

Gorgeous
sunsets, wonderful walks, swimming and walking are all available
at Huehuete Beach.

Masaya
Active Volcano
The most active volcano in the region, Masaya erupted last in 1993
and contained an active lava lake right up until late 1970s.

Lake
Nicaragua is the largest lake in Central America. It may be freshwater
but due to it's origins as part of the Caribbean Sea it still contains
saltwater fish such as Tuna, Swordfish and Sharks

Colonial City
This
is the oldest colonial city in Central America. An excellent location

former capital, the old city of León.
